-Photo submitted for WGNtv.com's “Mom Challenge” contest must feature the entrant’s mother (or spouse’s wife who is a mother) only. Other children can be present, but the mom must be in the image. Entrant must receive consent from mother before submitting contest photo.
-Enter online at wgntv.com between April 10, 2012 through April 23rd by 12:00 noon: All entrant photos will be posted no later than 3pm on April 23, 2012. On-line voting will be conducted from 4/24/12 through noon on 5/1/12. On 5/1/2012 the top ten (10) entrant’s photo will move on to Round 2 of voting. Round 2 voting will be conducted from 5/1/12 – 5/8/12. On 5/8/12 the three (3) entrant photos that receive the highest number of votes during the voting period as well as station judging will be deemed the three finalist and move on to compete in the ‘Mom Challenge’ on WGN Morning News on Friday May 11, 2012.
-Top three finalists will compete in WGN-TV’s Mom Challenge which consists of three challenges on Friday, May 11, 2012 sometime between 6-9am on WGN Morning News. Three mothers must be available to be present in studios or they will be disqualified, and the finalist with the next highest number of votes earned shall be deemed a finalist.
-Contest is open to mothers age 21 or older at time of entry, legal residents of IL or NW Indiana. Those nominating a mother must be 13 or older to submit a potential contestant.
-The winner of each challenge will win one (1) prize per challenge. The prize will be announced prior to the challenge. Prizes include: Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas gift card one gift certificate for a Mario Tricoci Day of Beauty (Signature Massage, Signature Facial, Signature Manicure, Signature Pedicure, Haircut & Style, New Image Design Makeup Lesson, Gourmet Spa Lunch (ARV: $385); six (6) Blue Man Group tickets (ARV: $354); Four (4) Feldco Windows, including installation (ARV $2,500).
